Limited Edition Teddies for Tomorrow Teddy Bear 1926
Richard Steiff was forever pouring innovative designs into his love of the Teddy bear. In 1926 he introduced tipped mohair. Could he have possibly known one day these stunning bears would be found in the Guinness Book of Records! In 1989 a beautiful, tipped mohair Teddy bear stole the hearts of a couple, they named her Happy as she was a gift to one another for their anniversary. She also became the first Teddy bear to appear in the Guinness Book for Records as the most expensive. The new 2024 edition is part of another Steiff innovation and comes in a completely new linen plush version.
