Shipping
Standard shipping orders take 1-3 business days to be processed and packaged before being shipped out of our warehouse. Shipping is the charge for FAO Schwarz order processing, item selection, packaging, transport, and handling.
We currently offer free ground shipping on orders over $100. Oversize or additional shipping charges may apply to some items due to their size and weight, regardless of the purchase amount. The product page will denote if an item is excluded from the free shipping promotion.
Due to our marketplace model, some items in your order may ship separately and arrive on varying dates.
FAO Schwarz is not responsible for:
- Delays with US Postal Service or FedEx shipping
- Orders shipped to the incorrect address due to the incorrect address being entered at checkout
- Lost, damaged, or marked delivered items. To file a claim with the carrier, please click one of the following links: FedEx Claims Support
- Items shipped to freight forwarders and not received. FAO does not allow shipment of items to freight forwarders.

Unfortunately, at this time we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico or APO/FPO/DPO addresses. We do not ship internationally.

Express Shipping
We offer expedited shipping on most items, based on the total order value before tax. The expedited shipping fees are broken down in the below chart:

Some items are not eligible for expedited shipping. Oversized Items
Some of our fantastical items are oversized and will take some additional love to get to you. If the item requires additional shipping coordination, please expect the normal 72 hours for processing and an additional 7-12 business days for delivery once shipped. Freight/LTL orders will not deliver on weekends or holidays. We charge a flat rate shipping fee, ranging from $200-$500 for each oversized item on order. These items do not qualify for free shipping.
Preorders
Items available for preorder will clearly state "preorder" in their title as well as in their description. Preorder dates are estimated, and provided by the brand/vendor. Preorder dates can change at any time. Preorder items are charged at the time of purchase, and will ship as soon as the inventory becomes available.
