Santoro London's Gorjuss x Ruby Red Fashion Friends - Just In Case Doll

I had this little girl on my doll list for quite some time unsure about getting her because she is quite different from my usual collectible dolls and toys. When I finally ordered her, I suppose I didn't focus too much on reading her detailed description or worry about how tall she was, nor did I read anything about her gorgeous purplish blue long hair with bangs, her well-made felt outfit and/or impossibly adorable accessories... much less did I focus on the fact that she'd arrive in a beautiful sturdy box, perfect for travel and display. In fact I forgot that she was I thought initially a faceless doll... which I was wrong about because she is a Gorjuss doll which unlike faceless dolls have eyes, but no nose or lips - so that one "can project our own emotions onto the doll." In other words, I simply liked her, purchased her and waited patiently for her to arrive with no expectations completely unprepared for the wonderful surprise.

After my delight in opening the box and realizing how big she was, the way she was packed allowed me to grab her coat first examining its beautiful stitching, details and lining before I put it on her. Excited I grabbed the scarf and wrapped it around her immediately (although she arrived on a hot day). Of course, I then laughed at myself afterwards thinking does she know it's summer? I just put a coat and scarf on her without asking! How crazy is that? I wonder if she's hot now? I removed the mesh over her hair allowing her shiny purple locks…
