Let your Light Shine - Sara Doll (Splash of Style)

I'm blessed with a granddaughter that likes dolls, and since I'm a doll collector, I'm looking for a fantastic doll to give her for special occasions. I've been looking, and Ruby Red has a beautiful line of 14 and a half inch dolls. First, I want to say this doll came all the way from Hong Kong. I thought FAO Schwarz would just take one from their warehouse, but no! It took two weeks for this doll to arrive to my house, so allow time for shipping. It was well worth the wait, because the doll is beautiful. I wanted to unbox her myself, so that when I give it as a present, it is ready to play. I'm glad I did that. She can balance without a stand, and though she has jointed elbows and knees, they are sufficiently tight enough that she doesn't buckle. Her clothes are well sewn and stylish. I love her tennis shoes. She has a jacket with a zipper, but I was not able to unhook the zipper for now, and I'll save that task for her parents. Her skin is a nice color and touch. Her wig is beautiful and lush. She has a bit of a strange shipping smell, so I've been airing her out. Her face is absolutely gorgeous. Her eyes look almost like glass and she has added eyelashes. Her sweet smile gives a very friendly appearance. Her head tilts and she has the ability to pose. This is a beautiful quality doll with a great play potential.
