His beige coat is crafted of genuine mohair that was milled in the same century-old factory that manufactured the "fur" on the original Steiff Teddy bear. He is also handmade in Germany like this historic bear was. In keeping with the unmatched craftmanship of his predecessors, James is five-way jointed and features hand-stitched detailing as well as wool felt paw pads.
